:: As students of LPL, they give the institute its identity. So, how do we characterize the LPL Students?

:: Inspired by Dr. Laurel's doctrines, the LPL students are committed to the following principles:

:: ACADEMICALLY COMPETENCE
   LPL, as an intellectual community, is composed of students having academic competence above the ordinary academic standards in today's colleges.

:: NATIONALISM
   LPL is a Filipino institution committed to the ideal of enlightened nationalism. In its view, nationalism is fundamental to an educational system that seeks to equip Filipinos to participate in the creation of a strong, independent and economically viable Philippines, and a progressive and peace-loving community of nations.

:: MORAL DISCIPLINE AND GOD-CENTEREDNESS
   Although members of an institute of technology, LPL students still give importance to morality and religion.

:: PRODUCTIVITY
   LPL students are capable of participating actively and constuctively in the making of a strong, independent and economically viable Philippines. After graduation, they are expected to do so internationally.
